Dear Fellow Texan:

 It has been an honor to serve you as Chief Justice of your Third Court of Appeals for the past five years.  Throughout my service to the people of Texas as Clerk of this Court, as an Associate District Judge and as your Chief Justice I have always strived to make sure that our court system provides fairness to all who come before it.   Texans deserve nothing less than honest, impartial deliberation when it comes to their court system.

That is a guiding principle that has always led me in my legal and judicial career.  I’m honored to serve you and I would be honored again with your vote and support as I offer myself for re-election to this important position.

I’ve worked hard these past five years and the record of this court reflects that.  In 2005-2006 I was ranked the second most productive appellate judge in all of Texas.  Three of the top five most productive appellate judges have come from this court.  We work hard for you because you deserve nothing less.

I ask for your vote for my re-election in 2008.  Thank you.
